Tour Plan
Arrive at Colombo International Airport (CMB) and transfer to Habarana. Check into your hotel and relax for the evening.
Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic landmarks in Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, go on a game drive in Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park, two wildlife parks known for their large herds of elephants. Return to your hotel in Habarana for the evening.
After breakfast, transfer to Kandy, stopping at Dambulla Cave Temples along the way. Explore the five cave temples, which are adorned with stunning Buddhist murals and statues. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world. Watch a Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening. Overnight in Kandy.
Take a scenic train journey from Kandy to Nanu Oya. Continue your drive to Ella, a picturesque mountain village known for its scenic tea plantations and waterfalls. Check into your hotel in Ella and relax for the evening.
After breakfast, transfer to Yala National Park. Go on a game drive in the afternoon to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and other animals. Return to your hotel in Yala for the evening.
After breakfast, transfer to Mirissa, a beautiful beach town known for its whale watching and dolphin watching opportunities. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or going on a whale watching or dolphin watching tour. Overnight in Mirissa.
